Remember the urns that I showed you earlier? And remember I got the small one for 40¢?
This is what I had planned for them (well, the small one anyways!)
It was perfect to make a rustic little topiary!
In fact I like it even better than this Ballard Designs version (which has a price tag of $49.00!!) I have it on my end table along with my $2.00 yard sale white dish and DIY brass to whitewashed frame (still need to post about those!)
The topiary part was super cheap too! Hobby Lobby sells these premade topiary balls in the garden section. This is the medium sized one and it is $4.99 but of course was 50% off, so $2.49!
Then you can unsnap the two halves apart if you want. So now I have 2 topiary halves for $2.50! I have the other half on a white pot. :)
So here it is again stacked on top of some of my grandfather’s old books! (and you can’t even see the little chip!)
Total cost:
40¢ for the urn
$1.25 for 1/2 of the topiary ball
$1.65!! (much better than Ballard’s $49.00 version!)
By the way, this is what I am thinking for the larger urn! I’ll show you when I finish it!
