What a week at Walgreens! The cashiers sure thought I was crazy buying all that Robitussin...until they saw my total...and the $10 in RR! I did 10 transactions this week, spent $10.52 out of pocket (along with some RR and money from my giftcard) and came home with $94.50 in RR! I don't know what I'm going to do with all that Robitussin, but I can definitely use the cleaning supplies and the milk. 
What's your story? What great deals did you get with your coupons? Did you do anything crazy? And what I really want to know is, did anybody beat my friend Julie who bought 45 bottles of Robitussin?!

I believe I'm up to 84 bottles between Robitussin and Dimetapp! ;) I got a $50 Visa Gift card with some of my RR and used the rest for about 8 packs of diapers and some of the other free/cheap items this week and I still have $80 in RR left! ;)

Maybe you could donate some of your stash to women's shelters, food pantry, neighbors, or have a garage sale and sell it a bit on the cheap side so you can recycle your earnings again. Got to be a way to get rid of it.

I sooooo wish I had a Walgreens! Way to go! I love it! I was beginning to wonder if having 113 tubes of toothpaste at one time (from CVS) was a little nuts??? LOL I definitely agree with donating it or having a yard sale with it...I have done both! Great post!
ReplyDeleteI would strongly recommend donating the extra to a food bank, but call first to see if they will accept non food items. Also, if you are donating a large amount, ask if they can issue a receipt for an income tax dedcution.
ReplyDeleteWell I only got 3 bottles of Robitussin. But my box of Blueberry Frosted Mini-Wheats had a rebate form for a full refund in the box and I had a $1.00 coupon. My first money-maker! lou
