This deal is not valid. I had seen it circulating the internet and had confirmed what I thought was this deal on the Chick-fil-a site but it turns out this is not a deal they are offering after all. Sorry!

But the calendar is still debuting soon and should cost $5.00 and it would make a good Christmas gift/stocking stuffer. When I was in college I would get 1 or 2 in my stocking and I loved them!

Using your coupon goodies to make gift baskets

Collin over at Hip to Save recently had a great post on gift basket ideas made with all your coupon goodies. Check out all her readers great ideas here.

That reminded me to share my gift basket for a baby shower that I made with all my coupon goodies. I gave her the basket with all the baby stuff and then put the diapers and wipes in a separate bag.

Regular price of everthing:

Diapers - $9.99
Wipes - $2.50 each = 5.00
Basket $14.99 - 50% off at Michaels = 7.50
Huggies disposable washclothes - $3.30 each but b1g1 free at Publix = $3.30
Huggies lotion, wash, and shampoo - $3.30 each on sale for b1g1 free at Publix = $9.90
Pink/ brown washclothes from Kohls - reg. $10.00 but 40% off = $6.00

Regular price I would have paid $41.69!

That even includes the basket being 50% off, the washclothes 40% off, and the Huggies bath stuff b1g1 free.

If I would have paid full price for all of it it would have cost me $66.38!!

But here is how much I actually paid:

Diapers - paid with ECBs = FREE
Wipes - used Publix and manuf cpn earlier this year = FREE
Basket = $7.50

I have enough of this to give many more gift baskets and have since been on the hunt at Goodwill and yardsales for inexpensive baskets to reduce my cost even more.

My brain is already spinning with more gift basket ideas I could do for Christmas, holidays, college kids, etc.

I love music! It can be such an encouragement to a needy soul. My heart has been touched a lot by music in the past few weeks as I was facing some storms in life and trying to focus on seeing Christ through them. It appears AJC is no longer offering the $1.00 coupon. Oh well, it was good while it lasted!

How about a $1.00 off the Sunday paper that you buy to get all your other coupons?!!

Go here (media.ajc.com) to the AJC website and click on "Subscription offer and coupon" in the right hand corner. It should print a coupon for $1.00 off the Sunday paper - the coupon is good ONLY on SUNDAY.

The coupon states to use it at Kroger, but since Publix takes competitor coupons you should be able to use it at Publix as well. From what I understand you can use the coupon on a single paper or a double pack of papers. The coupon reloads every week so each Sunday you can print a coupon to use on your paper that week.
