Crazy Coupon Capers

What does a couponer do for fun on vacation? Scope out the local drugstores, of course. My family and I took a little weekend trip up to Pigeon Forge, TN last weekend. As soon as we pulled into town, I started scanning the sides of the road to see if I saw any signs of a CVS or Walgreens. I found both! I didn't get any pictures of what I bought because my purchases were put away in the midst of all the unpacking and I'm not going to get everything back out! I was excited to find some things at CVS that had been out of stock at my CVS for a long time (-the clearance Mylanta and the Gillette shampoo from February's deals.) I ended up with a profit of around $3 at CVS. I didn't make a profit at Walgreens; I just spent some Register Rewards on something our family needed for the cabin - toilet paper!

How did you do this week? Did you find any good deals with your coupons or have any interesting experiences? Link in or leave a comment and let me know! And while it's not a requirement, I'd love it if you'd leave a link back to this post so others can come join in on the fun!

By any chance did you go to Dollywood?

    Thanks!

  2. CVS had playtex drop-ins on sale for $5 org $8.99. I bought one box then came home and realized I had two coupons for a $1 off. So I got 300 drop-in refills for $13!! that is a $13.97 savings!
