My favorite!  It really can be cheaper to avoid (for the most part) stores like Wal-mart and stick with the grocery stores.  Two main reasons: supermarkets double coupons, Wal-mart does not,  and Supermarkets have more rock bottom price sales that beat Wal-mart’s everyday low prices.

The night we turned into cows to get FREE Chikin!

I had a great evening at Chick-fil-a with the 2 most adorable “cows” ever - my 2 nieces (and no, I am not partial at all! :)

   

The older one loved dressing up like a cow and the whole experience.  The younger one, not so much! :)  (Maybe she was just being a “mad cow!”)

 

Our Chick-fil-a had these cute signs on the doors and windows that you could look through and take a picture in honor of Cow Appreciation Day.

 

My mom, my sister, her 2 girls, and myself went.  In between the 5 of us our combos and kids meals would have cost close to $30 but we got them all for FREE!

CVS deals update again!

I went to CVS again last night and bought more of the CVS brand pantiliners

I had already bought 2 and it was not saying "limit reached" on the bottom of my receipt.  I bought 2 more, got the $1.00 ECB and it still was not saying "limit reached."   So I bought 2 more, got the $1.00 ECB and it finally said "limit reached."  So it turns out the limit is 3 on this deal, meaning you can get 6 packages of pantiliners this week for FREE!

Buy 2, get $1.00 ECB's - ad states limit 1, but actually limit 3!

Get the RedPlum insert by mail = FREE coupons!

Do you get the Red Plum insert (formerly Valassis insert) in the mail?  I used to, but for some reason I have stopped receiving it.  So I was checking around the RedPlum site and found that you can go here and enter your address to see where the Red Plum insert is available in your area.  Even if it says it is available in a newspaper near you, you can still request that it be mailed to you by filling out this form or by calling Red Plum customer service directly toll free at 1-800-437-0479.  It will take 5-6 weeks for your request to go through.

I am looking forward to getting my FREE Red Plum insert delivered directly to my mailbox in just a few weeks.  Woohoo - FREE coupons!

Be on the lookout for this tearpad at Publix that says "Get Simple Summer Saves at Publix".

It is for a rebate for a $10 Publix gift card when you buy $50 of groceries including $15 of Pepsi/Frito Lay products between 6/24 and 7/28! 

I have not seen the form yet at my Publix, but I have found that sometimes they will keep them at Customer Service.  So be sure to ask at your customer service to see if they might have them or know where they are.

I have to say, I love this cat litter! It is the only thing that I use for my cat.  It is made out of corn which has several benefits - it makes less dust, it is cleaner, more absorbent, clumps great, and it is FLUSHABLE!!  I have the litter box in our downstairs bathroom and I love the fact that you can flush this litter right down the toilet with no mess taking out small bags of used litter every day.  It is a little more expensive than other litter (a 7 lb. bag costs $6-8).  But I find that I can make 1 bag last for an entire month for my 1 cat, where if I use Tidy Cats or any other litter the smell is so bad that I have to change it after 2 weeks.

Also often there are high dollar coupons offered in the paper or online for this litter so I usually can get it for $3-5 a bag and stock up for the next couple months.

$10 cash back from Ebates!

Have you joined Ebates yet?  If not this is a great opportunity to join.  I have blogged about Ebates here and here before.

Think of Ebates as a local mall with over 1,200 different stores but with one huge difference. Online stores pay Ebates a commission (think of it as a finders' fee) on every sale and they split this amount with the consumer. Meaning you get paid back a portion of what you spend!!  Each store pays a different commission so you will save different amounts at different stores; just look at the percentage next to the store name to see how much you will save.   Once you accumulate at least $5.00 in your account, they will send you a check (or deposit to your paypal account)!

Right now Kohl's is giving 2% back, Macy's is offering 6% back, Children's Place is offering 3% back, and there are many more online stores you can access through Ebates and get money back.  This money back is after using any promotional codes too so you can really maximize your savings!  Say you buy something on sale at Macy's for 50% off = $25.00 (regular price $50.00!) and have a free shipping code so you would pay $25.00 to have it shipped directly to your house.  Then you would get back 6% of that from Ebates = $1.50, making your item only cost $23.50!  If you would be ordering the item anyways, you might as well save even more off of it!

You can even use Ebates to get cash back when shopping at Ebay!

Typically Ebates will instantly give you $5 just for signing up, but right now they are offering $10.00 just for signing up!  It is free to join and if you do any online shopping, you could be earning back some of what you spend.  Christmas is right around the corner and I know each year I am doing more and more online shopping!
