FREE and $4.00 prescriptions

Flu and cold season is here and many of you will be headed to the pharmacy for prescriptions for yourself or your family.  I just wanted to remind you of the discount prescriptions offered by various stores out there.  With all of these medications, you must have a prescription written by a doctor and you can get these prices regardless of your insurance plan.
-----------------------
Publix offers several prescription medications for FREE.
  • Amoxicillin
  • Cephalexin
  • Sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP)
  • Ciprofloxacin (excluding Ciprofloxacin XR)
  • Penicillin VK
  • Ampicillin
  • Erythromycin Stearate and Ethylsuccinate
  • Doxycycline Hyclate (capsules)
--------------------
Wal-mart pharmacy offers a huge list of prescription medications available for $4.00 for a 30 day supply and $10 for a 90 day supply.  They also offer a list of $4.00 OTC medications.
--------------------
Target pharmacy also offers a list of generic prescription medications that are available for $4.00.
----------------
Kroger pharmacy also offers a $4.00 generic prescription medication program.
----------------
So hopefully you won’t need any of these, but if you do, at least you can save money on them!
