My fall wreath dilemma

So I have totally procrastinated on making a fall wreath for the front door this year.  Not sure why?

It’s not that I don’t have tons of inspiration!  I think I just can’t decide which one to make! :)

Here are a few of my favorites. (Maybe you can make a suggestion as to which one I should do in the comments! :)

I really am loving the more “muted “ colors of fall (browns, tans, white/ivory, and brownish orange) this year vs. the fiery colors of fall -  bright pumpkin orange and so on!

Like this magnolia wreath from Pretty Handy Girl

and brown leaf wreath from Wild Ink.

I am also loving the beaded or fall berry wreaths like this one from Haute Apple Pie

…but the supplies for those are more than I am wanting to spend.  Need to remember to try to pick up fall berries on clearance this year for next year! :)

and then this wreath made out of a picture frame from LPC interiors captures my attention too!

I really have fallen in love with burlap this year.  And this ruffled burlap wreath from Jones Design Company is adorable!

Or I have thought about making a larger version of my burlap wreath that hangs over the fireplace.

And I love this magnolia wreath from Centsational Girl but haven’t found a magnolia tree to get those beautiful leaves from!

Then I got the new Ballard Designs catalog in the mail this weekend and really liked these pinecone wreaths!

The large pinecone wreath is $99!  and the small one is $29.  Way too pricey for me but I think I could recreate for it almost free.  I can just picture it tied up with burlap for fall; then frost the pinecones and tie it up with a red ribbon for Christmas and right into January!

Dilemmas, dilemmas – which one should I choose???

I would love to hear what you think.  Which one is your favorite?

I will finally decide and make my wreath this week so come back later see which one I made!

  5. I love all the pics you posted and I can't wait to see what you create but I'm really partial to the pinecone look. I agree, burlap would be great with the pinecones! I think I'll head outside right now and collect some pinecones and try to come up with a way to form them into a wreath. I'd like to figure out a way to implement acorns and gumballs in there without everything looking the same color and blending together too much. I love the touch of white spray on the pinecones, as well. What a great winter look! As soon as I get something made, I'll be sure to take pictures and post them on my blog.
