Run, don’t walk to Dollar General NOW!

I told you I would let you know what I found when I posted about this great coupon they have this week - 50% off YOUR ENTIRE PURCHASE of Home Décor, housewares, kitchen, bed pillows, sheets, and rugs!

I have been twice already this week (we have like 8 stores in a 20 mile radius!) and here are some of my steals.  (I have pictures but my desktop computer won’t upload them – grrrr!!)

The cute lamps in the picture above are $7 regular price and the shades are $5 regular price.  BUT, they are having a special this week (it was posted at one store and not posted at the other store, but it worked at both stores) – Buy a lamp at $7, get any lampshade for $3 instead of $5!  I bought 2 lampshades and 1 lamp (trying them out to see which I like better!) and both lampshades rang up at $3!  AFTER the 50% coupon, the lamp was $3.50 and the lampshade was $1.50!!  I see ugly, brass, 70’s style lamps every week at Goodwill priced way more than $3.50!!  And I would have to spray paint them, find a lampshade, harp, etc……..  Loving an adorable lamp + shade for $5.00!

Some of the other things I got -

• Plastic organizational baskets - $2.25 = $1.25 after coupon
• GE lightbulbs - $2.00 = $1.00 after coupon
• Medium storage containers - $2.75 = $1.37 after coupon
