Great new way to save - SavingStar!

Savingstar_logo
I just signed up for SavingStar and I am so excited to share it with you!

SavingStar is a new grocery e-coupon program where you get money back by shopping with your store loyalty card. BUT instead of getting money off your bill at the register like a coupon, you get your money back in your SavingStar account.  Once you have $5 in your SavingStar account you can get it paid to you through PayPal, a direct deposit, or even an Amazon gift card!

Plus, unlike e-coupons, you CAN combine these money-back savings with printed/newspaper coupons (the store won’t even know that you have these coupons/savings loaded on your card because they don’t come off at the register.)

The way it works is by tracking what you buy when you scan your store loyalty cards, such as CVS, Food Lion, Kroger, Ingles, and many more based on what stores on in your area.  (Since Publix does not have a store loyalty card, you can sign up for Upromise, add your Upromise card to your account, then make sure you scan your Upromise card at Publix and you will still get credit.)

So here’s how to start saving:

Sign up for SavingStar, add your store loyalty cards to your account, choose your money saving offers (e-coupons) to add to your store loyalty card, buy your items, then you’ll receive the money saved back in your account. The offers will be added to ALL of your cards (even though most can only be used 1 time) so you will get credit no matter what store you buy the product at.

Just to encourage you, here are some of the great offers they have right now:
  • Buy 1 Snuggle® Fabric Softener, save $1.00
  • Buy 1 all® free clear OXI-Active®, save $1.00
  • Buy 1 HUGGIES® Little Swimmers® Swimpants, save $2.00
  • Buy 1 HUGGIES® Wipes and 1 HUGGIES® Snug & Dry Diapers, save $3.00
  • Buy 2 NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Cookie Dough or Brownie Dough, save $1.50

  1. Do you know if a "Buy 2 get $ off" saving star cpn has to have both items bought at the same time like a cpn would if you handed it over at the register or is it like a CVS where the computer keeps track and you could buy one in one transaction and another at another transaction or even different store? Just curious.

  3. Hi this is Josh from SavingStar. Just to clarify - the Upromise keytag can be used to redeem Upromise eCoupons powered by SavingStar on Upromise.com. But, at this time, Publix is not participating on SavingStar.com.
