Whole wheat tortillas aren't exactly the cheapest thing at the grocery store. I ran across this recipe on Hillbilly Housewife and decided to give it a try. They turned out great! I actually used half whole wheat; I think 100% whole wheat would have been a little too much. Instead of paying around $3.00 for 8 at the grocery store, I was able to make 20 at a fraction of the cost!

We're totally hooked on making our own tortillas here, too! They taste so much better than store-bought and are really a lot cheaper. Have you tried freezing them? They aren't quite as good as fresh, but easy for those days when you need a quick meal. Happy eating!
