This is what I got for free at Wal-Mart today.
1. Honey Bunches of Oats cereal - $1.98, used $2.00 coupon
2. Kraft LiveActive cereal - $2.98, used $3.00 coupon
3. Kashi waffles - $1.98, used $2.00 coupon
As I have mentioned before, it will depend on your store and your cashier whether you will be able to use the coupons or not. At my particular Wal-Mart, the coupons that are for more than the item's price will always beep, and I am at the mercy of the cashier as to whether she will okay them or not. They will not adjust the coupon down for you; they simply will not let you use the coupon at all. I have only had 2 instances where that has happened, though. Of course, make sure you have some other item to eat up the overage. You don't want your total going negative - then I'm sure they'd decide not to let you use them!
Thanks! Free makes it taste even better, right?
ReplyDeleteis that legal to refuse to use a coupon? I've always wondered about that....
