Are you earning money by doing online surveys?

I am just starting to do online surveys. Do you have a favorite one - if so I would love to hear about it. In the meantime, why don't you try one of these today!

This one looked really good so I am trying it out right now. The thing I liked about was there is no waiting for checks to come in the mail!! They deposit $1.00 directly into your paypal account for each survey you take and you can take multiple surveys each day!

This on is through Viva Research Survey Panel. You can earn cash for completing online surveys ($5-$75 per survey) and refer your friends and family to receive additional rewards.

SendEarnings

This one is through Send Earnings. They are offering a $5 sign up bonus and you earn money by reading emails.

ZoomPanel

This one is through Zoom Panel - you can earn points and rewards for taking surveys.

Survey a Day

This on is through Take a Survey a Day. Each time you complete a survey you have the chance to win $50,000 worth of home improvement.

This one is through The SurveyDoctor.com. They will send you paid survey opportunities

This one is through Winning Surveys and you complete a survey for a chance to win a spring wardrobe.
Let me know which ones of these you try and like or don't like. Or if you have a favorite site that is not listed below. Happy surveying!

Our Pastor started preaching a series on Prophecy from the book of Revelation and there was one thing that he said in his sermon last week that really stuck with me. He was explaining that the purpose of Revelation was to give us a glimpse of what is to come so that we can be motivated to share with others of the things to come, but also so that we can make sure that WE are ready for Christ to come back. That got me thinking - I am a "to-do list" person - not always written down, but I always have a mental "to-do list" in my head that I am checking off. A list for shopping, for cleaning, for errands, for things I need to accomplish around the house, for cake orders, etc. But do I have a spiritual "to-do list?" Are there things that I am working on or need to be working on before the big event of Christ coming back? Am I truly ready to face Christ - with my relationship the way that is, with my service to Him, and in many other areas? There are many things that I want to do before His return - not just the "get married, have kids" sort of things but spiritual things like develop a closer, more meaningful relationship, learn more about Him and His attributes, serve Him more and in bigger ways, share salvation with others, disciple others, and the list could go on and on. So this week I have been working on making a "spiritual to-do list" to put it in my Bible - some are short term goals and some long term. I am looking forward to checking things off and seeing what I can accomplish for Christ!

How about you? Are you ready to face the return of Christ? If you know Him as your Saviour are there things you still want to do for Him, and are you working on them? If you are not sure where you would spend eternity if Christ were to come back today, you can check out this page to read more.

How is God working in your life? I am so encouraged to receive emails from many readers and would love to hear from you.

Crazy Coupon Capers

Here's how I did on my shopping this week. Be sure to link in below to share your shopping deals for this week!

Kroger trip #1

Total - $68.00
- $52.00 in coupons
I paid - $16.00

( I forgot I had already put my refrigerated stuff away so I also bought 1 gallon of milk, 2 1/2 gallons of Kroger orange juice, and spreadable cream cheese that is not included in the picture above.)

I was so excited to find the strawberries marked down to $.77/package and I was able to buy 9 packages for a total of $6.93. I washed and cut the tops off immediately and here they are ready for the freezer.

Mmmmm, I can't wait for strawberry pies (maybe for Mother's Day!) strawberry ice cream, strawberry sauce for waffles, and smoothies!

Kroger trip #2

I made another trip later in the week since they were out of the free toilet paper and Suave deodorant and I had another $5/$45 purchase coupon to use before it expired. I loaded my buggy with mostly free after coupon items and needed something that I could buy to use the $5 from my $ off transaction coupon. Then I remembered the Unilever deal for the free ham and decided I could get about $5 off the price of the ham and still get the full price back from the rebate. Well the register I went to had horrible problems and every coupon I used required an override - needless to say in all the confusion, a few coupons were missed and I paid about $4 more than I should have if all of my coupons had gotten scanned. But I can't complain since after I get my check back from Unilever everything in this transaction will have been free and I will earn about $1.00 total.

Total - $ 62.84
-$47.30 in coupons
I paid - $15.54
I will get a check from Unilever for $16.55 (the price of the ham).

My grocery budget $40.00
I spent $31.54
but will will receive back $16.55 from Unilever making my total spent this week $16.00. So I have some extra for next week to stock up on meat or fresh veggies if I need.

CVS trip

I did make a few other CVS trips since they were out of some things and I realized the limit increased for the Tressemme but here is transaction #1 of the week.

Total 52.10
- $10/50 purchase
- $5/15 Tressemme purchase
- $25.99 in other coupons
I paid - $9.99 in ECB's and $1.75 on my GC
I earned $19.00 in ECB's making this a profit of $7.26 in ECB's

Check out this great deal I found at CVS!

Last week I got a $2.00 coupon off Huggies baby wipes from the CVS coupon printer. So I headed off to the diaper aisle to see what I could get. I took some refill packs priced at $6.49 up to the scanner and some of them scanned 50% off = $3.25 each for 160 wipes! So when I was in the store this week I checked them again. At two of my local CVS stores these refill packs rang up at over 75% off for $1.62 each!

Here is my transaction:
3 x $1.62 = $4.86
Used (1) $2.00 CVS coupon off refill pack
Used (2) $0.75 wipes coupon printed from coupons.com (no longer available)
Paid $1.56 with tax for 3 refill packs of 160 wipes each!!
The second store that I was at had the green Natural Care labeled wipes on clearance for $1.62 each. The shelf labels are not marked so scan these at your scanner or have them do a price check for you.
You can use this $0.50 printable coupon or the $0.50 coupon from 3/1 S or 4/19 S to score yourself a great deal on these clearanced wipes!

Sunday Sustenance

My husband preached in church on Wednesday night and I have been thinking about this part of his message all week long. He preached from John 21 where Jesus has appeared to his disciples after His resurrection as they were out fishing and they are eating fish by a campfire.

Here's the background to this passage: The last time Jesus and Peter have seen each other is in John 18 when Peter sees Jesus as he has denies him the third time and Peter hears the cock crow three times. The next time Peter is mentioned in John 21 it begins with Peter stating "I go a fishing" - meaning I am giving up on following Christ because I have failed him and I am going to go back to my old occupation.

Now we come to our passage - John 21:15 - "So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, 'Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these?' ..." Many people debate on what the "these" could mean - is Jesus referencing the other disciples and saying do you love me more than they love me? Or is Jesus pointing to the boat, water, and fish and asking Peter do you love me more than your occupation and what you love doing?

So I ask you the same question. Do you love Christ more than _______? and you fill in the blank. It is so easy to get busy with our jobs, home, family, church, coupons, etc. and forget about the One who loves us more than ANYTHING that He was willing to give up His life on the cross to provide salvation for us.

How has the Lord worked in your heart this week? I would love to have you leave a comment or send me an email and share what you have been learning!

Crazy Coupon Capers

Once again I don't have full shopping trips to share with you this week just because there wasn't the greatest deals at the stores and we really are just making doing on our stockpile quite fine. So why spend money when there is no need? That is one of the benefits of stockpiling items when they are super cheap. But here is some of the things I did get...

What I got at Publix: (this sale goes through Tuesday so you still have opportunity to take advantage of their sale - see my post here.)

Total - $16.67
minus coupons - $4.98 (Publix bleach was the penny item!)
I paid - $11.69

The Pam were 1.00 after coupon but I realized later in the week that there was a Publix coupon in the yellow advantage buy flyer that I could have used too along with my manf. coupon reducing my cost for each to $.45!! So I might have to get a few more on my trip on Tuesday.

What I got at CVS:

Total 17.22
minus coupons 8.75
I paid 7.96 in ECB's and .79 on CVS GC
I received back 8.98 in ECB's making this a profit of $.23

Deal alert!!! - look for clearance Huggies wipes at your store - this pack of wipes was 50% off -orginal 6.49 but on clearance for $3.25. I also had a $3.00 manf. coupon and a CVS CRT for $2.00 off making these wipes better than free!!

What about you? Did you get any good deals with your coupons or have any interesting experiences? Link in or leave a comment and let me know!

Free El Monterey tornados at Walmart

I was alerted to this deal at Wal-mart:

There were "Try Me Free" peelies found on 3 pack of El Monterey Tornados (sort of like taquitos). They were found in the open freezer section at Walmart, next to the El Monterey burritos and chimichangas. El Monterey will reimburse you full cost of the Tornados once you send in the peelie and your receipt.

Plus, inside the box was a link to a short survey and when it was completed you were promised to be sent $1 off coupon for 2 more boxes of Tornados.

Check out this post for more details.

Thanks, Engineer a Debt Free life!

More deals at Walgreens this week

Check out this post over at Moneysaving Mom on how to get better than free clearanced Easter candy at Walgreens after submitting for an Easysaver rebate. Also she mentions the Vaseline lotion deal that I will be sure to do this week.

Vaseline lotion 10 oz bottles are on sale for $2.69 this week. Here is a RR deal for them - buy 6 products get $6.00 in RR back. I only have the $1.00/1 coupons so here is my scenario - if you have the $1.50/1 coupons you total after 6 coupons would only be $7.14

6 bottles x 2.69 = $16.14
use 6 $1 coupons = $10.14
get $6 in RR back

But I have the whole 16.14 to submit towards the Unilever rebate. Read about that rebate here. I also have $3 in RR from last week to pay towards my OOP cost.

Thanks, Money Saving Mom!

Sunday Sustenance

I am glad that MaryEllen started this part of her blog and I am excited to continue it and share something each week with you that the Lord has laid on my heart or is doing in my life.

Of course today we celebrate Easter - a holiday in which we celebrate and remember the resurrection of Christ. I enjoy this holiday very much. Maybe because it is nestled in the beginning of spring when the weather is becoming warm, trees and flowers are budding, and all of this new life reminds me of the new life that we can have in Christ because of His death and resurrection for us. I look forward to the songs that are sung around this time in church that seem to make my heart swell with thankfulness that Christ not only died on the cross for ME but He rose again and is preparing a place for ME in heaven. I hope in all the busyness that each holiday brings you will see beyond the bunnies and baskets and remember the true meaning of this holiday - Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day! Out of all of the religions in the world there is only one that people can visit the tomb of the leader and find it empty!

I had the privilege of visiting Israel on a missions trip after high school and this is a picture of the "Garden Tomb" there outside of Jerusalem. We had a wonderful Sunday service sitting there in the garden singing songs and reflecting on the resurrection. I love this picture of the open and empty tomb!!

Here are the words to my one of my favorite songs that tells the Easter story:

"He is Risen"
Men in sorrow saw him there
On the cross He chose to bear.
When He died they low'red Him down,
Wrapped Him in his burial tomb.

Laid Him down and sealed the tomb.
Wandered off to face the gloom.
Roman soldiers watch the scene;
Guard the buried Nazarene.

Two days passed; the third begun,
Satan watched the rising sun.
Though He thought that Christ was dead,
Christ would bruise the Serpent's head;

Chorus:
HE IS RISEN, the grave is empty.
Death would try to conquer Him but He had victory.
None could keep Him in that cave;
Foll'wers found an empty grave,
HE IS RISEN, Behold the empty tomb!

I would love to hear what you think and what the Lord is doing in your life! Feel free to leave a comment. If you have any questions about anything I mentioned, please email me and I will be happy to answer you.
